Welcome

55+ Healthy & Happy is SECA’s volunteer-run seniors initiative, proudly launched in April 2024 and offered at no cost to participants. This program was created to support healthy aging and to build an age-friendly, welcoming community where older adults feel connected, supported, and that they truly belong.

We meet every Thursday for a full two-hour program. The first hour focuses on active programming, such as gentle fitness, movement, or wellness-based activities that support physical health and independence. The second hour is dedicated to social connection and enrichment, featuring guest presentations, creative activities, games, learning opportunities, and plenty of time to visit, laugh, and build friendships.

Through 55+ Healthy & Happy, SECA aims to reduce social isolation, encourage lifelong learning, and create meaningful opportunities for seniors to stay engaged, active, and involved in their community.
